Industrial floorings are meant to withstand a significant amount of automotive oils, heavy vehicles, water ingress etc.
AIM Industries provides the perfect industrial flooring systems to meet your requirements, whether it is meant to withstand heavy or light use conditions.
Epoxy offers a superior quality in terms of hardness in a variety of colors and has a long lifespan and requires low maintenance.
1. Surface preparation:
- Grinding surface: remove laitance and prepare a levelled concrete floor free from contaminants (grease, oil etc.)
2. Advapoxy Primer application to seal the surface. Priming is not normally required provided the substrate is sound, untreated and good quality nonporous concrete. If any doubts exist of the quality of the concrete, or if it is porous it should be primed with ADVAPOXY PRIMER.
3. First Coating application of ADVAPOXY 1500. It is a two-component system resin hardener mixed with heavy duty low speed mixing drill.
4. FinalCoating application of ADVAPOXY 1500

SOLVENT FREE, EPOXY RESIN FLOOR COATING
ADVAPOXY 1500 is a top-tier, solvent-free epoxy coating designed for industrial concrete floors. This high-build, pigmented coating offers a seamless, durable finish with exceptional resistance to abrasion, impact, water, mild chemicals, and solvents. It adheres strongly to concrete, ensuring a stable and long-lasting surface that's easy to clean and maintain. Ideal for high-traffic areas, ADVAPOXY 1500 combines low maintenance with superior protection to keep your industrial floors in prime condition.
The total dry film thickness of the coating shall be a minimum of 400 microns and shall have a compressive strength of 70 N/ mm2, flexural strength of 40 N/mm2 and tensile strength of 20 N/mm2. The floor shall be prepared and the coating mixed and applied in accordance with the manufacturer's current data sheet.
The base and hardener components of ADVAPOXY 1500 should be thoroughly stirred before the two are mixed together. The entire contents of the hardener container should be poured into the base container and the two materials mixed thoroughly, and mix for at least 3 minutes by the use of a heavy-duty slow speed, flameproof or air driven drill. Mix these components in the quantities supplied taking care to ensure all containers are scraped clean. Do not add solvent thinners at any time.
